STRUCTURE

TouristHub comprises three phases (design, implementation, integration & pilot execution) and seven work packages (WP). Phase 1 (WP1) deals with eliciting users’ needs, deriving functional and non-functional requirements, and identifying the technical specifications of the TouristHub architecture. Phase 2 (WP2, WP3, WP4) deals with the implementation and integration of the primary services and applications that meet the TouristHub architecture specifications. Phase 3 (WP5) deals with the platform pilot demonstration to be pursued in Crete and the Cyclades islands in order to test the performance of TouristHub in destinations with high tourism intensity and diverse geographical and operational characteristics. The project also includes horizontal actions, such as the development of business models and a platform exploitation plan, the participation in international tourism industry expositions (WP7), project management and coordination activities, as well as dissemination and promotional activities.
